Instructions for Threaded Post and T-Nut Usage

Here are two options for hanging your Mosaic Projects. The first is called a "Threaded Post ". Concept is easy enough. Just pre-drill a hole in the substrate and insert the post side in from the front side of the project before you install the mosaic glass or tiles. Be sure to select the post length so it is no longer than the substrate thickness. Glue the post so it will not turn under the glass when you tighten the bolt. Countersink the post head so it is flush with the surface of the substrate and does not interfere with the mosaic tiles or glass. Then all you have to do is put the screw through the tab on a D-Ring and tighten it into the post from the back side. These work great in Easy Board.

The second option is called a T-Nut. As you can see from the picture below it is simular in concept in that you drill a hole same size as the shank on the T-Nut and hammer it in from the back. Don't forget to countersink it flush with the surface. The spikes secure the nut from turning when you tighten the bolt from the back side.
